Boyer, Jean (Marriage - 18 July
1953)
Miss Jean Boyer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George
Boyer, Neillsville, and Robert Bedell, son of Mr. and Mrs. George
Bedell of Fairchild, were married July 18 at the Methodist church
in Neillsville, with the Rev. Virgil Nulton officiating at the
double ring ceremony.
The
bride wore a gown of white nylon with lace inserts and carried a
bouquet of white snapdragons and yellow roses surrounding an
orchid.
Her
maid of honor was Evelyn Bedell, sister of the groom. Marvin
Boyer was best man.
A
reception for 20 guests was held at the Arvid Boyer home.
Decorations for the church and home were yellow, white and blue
streamers.
The
bride is a high school graduate and has always stayed at
home.
The
groom is attending Macalester College.
Out of town guests attending the wedding were Mrs. Wilson O’Leary and family of Two Rivers, and Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Howard and family of Unity.
